It’s terrible
October 22nd, 2007Day after day
I never want to stay
They make me pay
Get out of my way
I never want to stay
Don’t look at me like that
I’m not a crazy cat
You see
Please help me!
Day after day
I never want to stay
They make me pay
Get out of my way
I never want to stay
Don’t look at me like that
I’m not a crazy cat
You see
Please help me!
The Cat Who Sailed the Seven Seas
Was never, never un-pleased
He never threw his blankets in a heap
He never had to count sheep
He never tossed and turned in his bed
He never ever bonked his head
He loved to dance, sing, and skate
He loved to escalate
I have told you of the Cat of the Seven Seas
He is never ever displeased
Garbage trash
No bottles in the recycling bin
“Honey you need to take
the trash out tonight”
Ryan doesn’t do it
He leaves it for the flys
To have a bite
Cars, trucks
Buses too
Polute the air
So the trees won’t
Want to give any to you
Down in the meadow
Where the grass is so high
I say it reaches up to the sky
The flowers are blooming here and there
If you use your imagination
There’s a polka-dot bear
Singing and dancing
All the way to dusk
It’s time to go to bed
I lay down my head
My Dad kisses me goodnight
“Sleep tight!”
I dream about a new day
And a new way
Birds and monkeys, elephants bees
Anything that climbs on trees
Try and catch me, if you can
My name is Tarzan
Giraffes gorillas armadillas
Layin in the sun, havin lots of fun
Cats King Kong in a zoo
I think she’s looking at you
I said “Try and catch me if you can
My name is Tarzan”
Crocodiles gators swamp invaders
Monkey boy too
I don’t think I’d like to live with you
I said “My name is Tarzan,
Try and catch me if you can”

Many hours have passed
You get a little sleepy
You do a small yawn
Look at the sea
And look back into the boat
You feel like you are dozing off
But for some reason
You aren’t
The trip’s over now
And you are happy about what you saw

Sick of the Sea
by Charlotte
Your body feels weak and trembly
Quite cold
And exhausted
You feel like you are going to fall to your knees
But for some reason you don’t
You feel like you need to shake
But you won’t
The oars make a small spash
And you feel like you are going to doze off
Softly, the boat tips side to side
And a smooth glide
Soon you’re home in your warm bed
Your family is all around you
You wake up slightly
Then when you see the morning sun
You are awoken
