This was one of our first big missions, with a nice breeze and real Bay
sailing. Searaven hit
7 kts on a beam reach with the screecher up, easily outpacing some 30ft
keelboats also headed for Alaya Cove, at Angel Island State Park.
We drove up from Sunnyvale to Sausalito, about 70 min with no traffic,
and launched at the Clipper Cove ramp about 1100. As usual, there
was no wind for the first mile or so, then it picked up and we were off!
